Mr. Dave Baluha (B.A., University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; M.A. in progress, The Citadel/University of Charleston) has been working as a professional archaeologist since 1993. This work has taken him across the United States, including work in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, and The Bahamas. Mr. Baluha recently directed ground penetrating radar investigations at Site 40DV7 for the Brockington Institute on behalf of MTSU's archaeological field school. Notable projects directed by Mr. Baluha include archaeological survey, testing, and data recovery at the Parrot Point Site in Charleston, South Carolina, survey and testing at the Watson Hill Tract, in Dorchester County, South Carolina, and Archaeological Survey of the I-73 Corridor, Dillon, Horry, Marion, and Marlboro counties, South Carolina. Mr. Baluha serves as a project manager in our Charleston area office. At present, Mr. Baluha is completing his master's thesis in history, entitled Plantation Development in St. Pauls Parish, South Carolina.
