Stacey Whitacre received a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Georgia State University and a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of South Carolina. Ms. Whitacre has worked in cultural resources for over seven years, with field experience in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and. West Virginia. Ms. Whitacre has also worked internationally on archaeological projects in Mexico and El Salvador. Additionally, Ms. Whitacre has logged over 300 hours metal detecting at historic sites, battlefields, and other military-related sites. Ms. Whitacre's research interests include Conflict Archaeology, Military History, the Revolutionary War, and Colonial America. Ms. Whitacre brings well-rounded field and research experience to Brockington and Associates as well the specialty of Military Sites Archaeology.
