SINCE 1986
LETTER FROM
THE PRESIDENT
In 1986, Brockington and Associates was founded on the need for a truly client-focused cultural resource management firm. By making consulting and client service the core of Brockington’s mission, we were able to serve clients’ needs better, and we were able to help clients understand the power of stewardship of cultural resources.
I’m proud of Brockington’s tradition of leadership within the cultural resource management industry. I’m proud of our many, many (now more than 6,000!) archaeology and history projects, and of the important research we’ve done. I’m proud of our long tradition of innovation in education and public outreach: I believe the work we do through HW Exhibits fulfills the promise of Section 106 by sharing our knowledge about cultural resources with the public.
I’m also proud to be the second generation of ownership of a family business. But, at Brockington, being a family business means more than just who owns the company. Many of us have worked together our entire careers, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Sally Brockington
