Brockington architectural historian helps Quincy, Iowa cemetery get listed on National Register

Brockington architectural historian Paige Wagoner, who works in the firm’s Charleston office, was recently interviewed by Tri States Public Radio regarding her work for the Quincy, Iowa National Cemetery. Wagoner helped the cemetery become listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery is the final resting place for approximately 300 Civil War soldiers, including Congressional Medal of Honor winner Corporal Martin J. Hawkins. Hawkins was a member of Andrew’s Raiders who participated in the Great Locomotive Chase.
