Computer Applications in Archaeology Conference

Tom Whitley presented a paper titled, “Uncertainty on the Local Scale: Defining Households and Task Areas from Complex Spatial Contexts,” at the annual meetings of the Computer Applications in Archaeology Conference, held April 2-6 in Budapest, Hungary. The paper describes efforts, involving generating spatial algorithms and specific GIS analyses, to identify specific households and interpret task areas across a Mississippian/Contact Period village in North Augusta, South Carolina.
