Official Presentation of Oral Histories to St. Augustine Historical Society

On April 4th, 2012, the 59 oral histories recorded by Brockington and Associates’ Oral History Program were officially presented to the St. Augustine Historical Society. The presentation was made by Vickie Renna of the St. Johns County Planning Division, Growth Management Department, the William Bartram Scenic & Historic Highway Corridor Management Committee, and the Friends of A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway. The audio and video histories are the result of interviews conducted by Brockington Historian, Charlie Philips from 2008 through 2011, under contract with St. Johns County, Florida. Jeff Gardner, Branch Chief of Brockington’s Florida office, attended the ceremony and assisted with the presentation.
